Parent Teacher Organization

What is the PTO?
PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization.  It is open to any parent who has a child attending Meadowview Elementary School. There are no annual dues and we warmly welcome everyone. The PTO plans and pays for many special events and on-going activities throughout the year.

Committees and Volunteer Opportunities
Meadowview PTO has many volunteer opportunities. Below is a list of our committees; they are always looking for a fresh face and a new idea. On the first day of school we will have a sign up table available.

• Book Fair –Set-up/work the annual Scholastic Book Fair–Fall and Winter
• Winter Wonderland –At the end of the year, decorate and undecorate the halls
• End of Year Celebration – Organizes activities for the last day of school
• Fifth Grade Party –Organize the end of the year Fifth Grade party
• Hearing and Vision – Help students during hearing and vision screenings - Fall
• Teacher Appreciation – Organize/assist in teacher appreciation events
• PAC Representatives – Attend monthly meetings
• Popcorn Days – Help distribute popcorn to the classrooms- 3X/Year
• Yearbook – Organize the yearbook

To fund activities and fieldtrips we have various fundraising activities, including Dairy Queen and Culver's nights, just to name a few. 

Throughout the year we may have additional fundraisers as the need arises. Please keep in mind that all fundraisers are voluntary.
